| Description |
This course is designed to provide an overview of the major tables, reports and processes included in each module of the Student System, as well as providing an introduction to the Banner directory structure The course reviews some basic concepts such as naming conventions, use of the data dictionary, and referential integrity. Hands-on exercises are used to demonstrate the table/form/process relationships. The training also includes discussion about data conversion as well as a conversion example exercise.

| Intended Audience: |
Technical Support personnel responsible for the conversion and ongoing helpdesk support of the Student module.

| Prerequisites |
Intro to Oracle/SQL and General Tech. Domain knowledge (experience supporting and a solid understanding of student services operations) and extensive technical knowledge of the existing software used to support the various student departments on your campus.
