Milestone 1 signoff

Project Plan preparation

Paul Setze presented a template version of the MS Project document for adaptation by campuses. A final copy is due to Scotti by Dec 31.

Local PDD development

Scotti presented a template version of the Project Definition Document for adaptation by campuses. A final copy is due to Scotti by Dec 31.

Issue resolution

GEN-04 – employer ID - Don Sylwester will continue to study this (due Nov 19)

GEN-14 – reports – more information is needed

Question: will SCT support report creation/modification to meet BHE/CUS common requirements in conjunction with the prototype? (to be answered by SCT/CAIS administration – due Nov 19)

Question: does each module provide adequate standard reports? (to be answered by each BPA Team – due ASAP – Scotti remind team leaders)

GEN-17 – end user reporting training –Ron, Eric, and Gene will study this (report due Nov 19)

GEN-18 and secure doc printing – Denny S., Don, Eric will report (report due Nov 19)

Local campus reports

The campus representatives summarized recent events and processes on the campuses.

Banner 4.0 highlights

A worksheet was distributed and briefly discussed.

Deployment of Banner 4.x

Scotti and Paul will develop a detailed analysis of the risks and benefits of moving to 4.x during the project.

Banner 3.x Navigation CD

Campus copies of the CBT course were distributed.

Prototype

Citrix server status

Scotti reported that the Citrix server is now operational but access and security require further work.

Address Types; Congregation/District codes

Solutions are in the final stages of description and will be made available as soon as possible.

Paul Setze presented an analysis of the parent address issue.

Scotti’s draft will be reviewed by Bob, Eric, and Ron.

Campus Pipeline

Research into the advertising dimension of the product will continue.

Learning Suite

Eric stated that St. Paul is interested in installing and experimenting with the Learning Suite as soon as possible.

Training

Attendance policy (Al)

The Council was reminded that they are responsible for assuring that the right people are at each session, and that they are to discuss any proposed changes in attendance with Scotti as soon as the issue is known.

Technical and Functional training schedules

These were reviewed.

Miscellaneous

Scotti will prepare a data entry standards document for the next Council meeting.
