The CAIS Legacy System is a terminal/host based administrative information system internally developed.  This system is being phased out due to the acquisition of the Banner2000 software from SCT.  Full support and maintenance will be provided until June 30th, 2001.

CAIS Legacy easy-to-use software modules, complete with Internet access, interact with each other to deliver information to administrative staff, faculty and students. The software accommodates institutional needs in virtually any degree program: traditional undergraduate, part-time student, adult degree completion, transfer students, consortia arrangements, extension sites, and international programs. The integrated menu-driven modules support data used in the following divisions.

Key Modules

  • STUDENT INFORMATION: The Admissions module provides your staff with a powerful tool to generate progressive communications from initial inquiry through confirmation status. The Financial Aid software allows the officers' access to required student data to efficiently award grants and issues award letters. The Registration module tracks and maintains the vital records necessary for degree completion. Housing and Campus Security paperwork is reduced to a minimum with the support of the software. Students and Faculty can access as much or as little of the information as defined by your institution.
  • FINANCIAL INFORMATION: The Financial Accounting module is a detailed fund accounting system. Human Resource Management supports the employee records, payroll deductions and W-2 preparation. Fixed Asset Control allows the business officers to record and control the institution's property.
  • INSTITUTIONAL ADVANCEMENT: The Development and Fund Raising module enables your institution to track gifts from alumni, corporations, and friends of the institution and develop the giving potential of the target group. Public Relations and Alumni Support allows the staff to develop gift campaigns and events designed to benefit scholarship funds.
