CAIS Legacy: Development and Fund Raising Module

The Development and Fund Raising module includes the following features:
  • Uses a relational, SQL database which allows for extremely flexible relations between entities, multiple address and name variants, and flex fields.
  • CASS certification with a 24 hour turnaround.
  • Support for mailing segmentation and tracking.
  • Gift and pledge tracking by motivation code, account number and date.
  • Tracks gifts given as memorials or matching gifts.
  • Full support for giving clubs, visitation programs, boards, and phonathons.
  • Integrated data processing and word processing support.
  • Event tracking for support of planned giving and visitation programs.
  • Many detail, summary, and exception reports available. Reports are ordered when needed by the client and are based on the selection criteria specified.
  • Gift receipts and pledge reminders are generated automatically. Different receipt and reminder letters or forms can be generated within a single run of the a program.
  • Client specifies the format and contents of receipt forms and letters. In most cases, changes to receipt or letter formats can be handled entirely by the client without CAIS intervention.
  • The ability to correspond with husband and wife individually or together on a mailing by mailing basis. Separate fields available for work addresses of the husband and wife.
  • Effective and efficient on-line query based on name, address, city, state or zip code of donor.
  • Merge/purge software and reports for eliminating duplicates from acquired prospect lists.
  • On-line lookup of an individuals pledge and gift history can be displayed in account number or date order.
  • An on-line notepad permits entry of additional information about a donor or contact. This information can be available to the entire office, or restricted to a single person.
  • Standard reports show pledge income projections and unfulfilled pledges.
  • Special routines permit you to produce a mailing list based on individual gifts, pledges, date or amount of first or last gift, date or amount of smallest or largest gift given, total amount given, number of gifts given, and average gift.
  • Standard report shows cost of a mailing, pledges generated, and amount raised per dollar spent.
  • Coding schemes to identify individuals are customized to the organization.
  • Client independence with professional support. All data entry and reporting is done locally by the client. CAIS support staff is readily available to answer questions, provide training, and fulfill specific requests.
  • Batch receipts can be transferred to the Financial Accounting System general ledger at a detail or summary level.
