Travel instructions from the college:

As you leave the college front oval, take the third street on our left around a stone monument. The road is called Winter hill but there is no street sign. Continue down the hill, up a small rise and down again through a small business district. Pass over the rail road tracks and take the second left. The first street is one way the wrong way. After two blocks, the street dead ends onto Tuckahoe Road. Go right. The motel is several miles west on Tuckahoe road on your right.

Travel from the airports.

We recommend that you travel past the college first and use the above directions

Recommended restaurants:

Pipers Kilt: (On White Plains Road, 0.7 miles north of the college on your left just past Mill road)

Main fair is very good hamburgers with good selection on tap.

Ciao’s (Take as left at first traffic light as you travel north from the college. The road ends after one block. Take a left and immediately another left. The restaurant is on your left so take a third left into their parking lot.)

Lunch fair is exceptional with a wonderful choice of salads.

Rockwells (As you leave campus, take the third left around a stone monument into Tuckahoe. The street is Winter Hill but it is not marked. Take a left at the third light into the small business district. The restaurant is on your left.)

The fair is traditional and reasonable in cost.

Daniels. (Follow the directions to Rockwell’s above but go right at the third light. Go about a mile to the next traffic light. The restaurant is on your right just past the traffic light across from a commuter train station.)

This is a first class restaurant with a wonderful chef and reasonable prices.

An American Bistro (As you leave campus, take the third left around a stone monument into Tuckahoe. The street is Winter Hill but it is not marked. Take a right at the second light. The restaurant is about a quarter mile on your right).

This is an exceptional restaurant. It is small and crowded but worth it. Do not be fooled but its location in the middle of and industrial area and its tiny size. If you have any doubts look at the BMW’s and Porche’s that fill their tiny lot. The prices are somewhat higher but most good things come at a price.
