The Client Services Team handles all of the frontline support for Banner2000 via phone, email, web, and walk-in. This team handles an average of 130 support calls each week.

 

The Client Services Team is managed by Nick Gouskos. Nick came to CAIS from George Williams College just under nine years ago, where he served as the Business Manager. At CAIS, Nick has supported the Financial System clients before becoming the Client Services Manager. Nick has an excellent rapport with clients and a good vision of the process our clients will be facing with the new administrative system implementation. Nick and his family live in the far western suburbs.

 

Meet the CAIS Client Services Staff:

 

 

Corinne Edmondson has been working at CAIS for the past 11 years supporting the Alumni Development software. She has an MA in Education from CURF (2000) and a BA in business/marketing from DePaul University (1982) She lives in Lombard with her husband, Galen.. She has one grown daughter and 3 grown step-daughters.  She has been involved with  the Women's Bible Study at church for many years and, in her free time likes to bake, collect antique linens and redecorate.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Daniel Babchak handles Financial Aid Support for CAIS. He has a B.A. from Concordia College (1980).  Daniel has been with CAIS for most of that time since, except for a brief hiatus at Concordia Seminary.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Janet Smith has supported the Student module since 1997. She has a MA in Urban Teaching and a BS in Computer Science. She, her husband and 2 children, Jennifer (10) and Troy (9), live in South Holland.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ruth Simpson handles Housing Support and is the CAIS Administrative Assistant. She lives in Oak Park and is currently working on her undergraduate degree. She enjoys collecting dolls and reading.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Thomas McCarthy provides Finance support for CAIS. Tom joined CAIS in 2000 after working in the accounting office at Concordia for 20 years. Born and raised on the South Side of Chicago, Tom was brought up to root for the White Sox and anyone who played the Cubs. He and his wife, Diane, have two children, Mary and Ron and his hobbies are fishing and playing with his grandsons. Tom’s father was a Democratic Precinct Captain and he began voting in Chicago at the age of 8 where he was awarded candy for each time he would vote in an election.
